White bots can jump

Toyota, with a secret desire to own the world of robotic ass-kicking, has developed a one-legged robot which can jump up to 1.6" in height, and maintain its balance. Which solves the age-old problem facing man: how to jump 1.6". Or something.

I support the robot cause, but am confused as to why they make it look like a half a toilet.
