Bach'ing it

Here are a couple of update pictures of our new place (as Steve pointed out, "The Coach House" is the 19th century version of saying "The Garage." Doesn't sound nearly so quaint when you think of it that way.) This kind of explains where the Coach House is in relation to Catton Hall.         In the meantime, I've begun buying furniture. You can tell my bride's not here yet - in approximate order of acquisition, here's what I have so far:
  • A BBQ Grill
  • Diet Coke/Beer
  • Meat
  • Knife
  • Toaster
  • Radio/CD Player
  • Pillow
  • Blanket
  • Washing detergent
  • Telephone
  • Broadband (don't have yet, but the order's in)
  • Bookshelves
  • One Massive Desk (and the other side)
No bed (though the mattresses are on order). No TV. Just the essentials.

A Day in the Life

The reason I came to the UK in the first place: Our SAP instance (read, 'our really big uber-computer system' for non-techs in the audience) is a single, global system with different languages applied to the screens, depending on where you log in from.
